Bookcliff Outfitters operates on the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests under special use permit from the Forest Service USDA.

All or part of this operation is conducted on Public Lands under special permit from the US Bureau of Land Management.

Under Colorado Las, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to Section 13-21-119, Colorado Revised Statutes.

Pursuant to section 12-55.5-105(1)(3) and (1)(D) outfitters are bonded and required to possess the minimum level of liability insurance and that the activities of outfitters are regulated by the Director of the Division of Registrations in the Dept. of Regulatory Agencies.

50% deposit is required on all hunts to book. We do accept personal checks for the deposit. If you wish to use a personal check for the balance of the hunt, you need to send it so that it arrives at least 30 days in advance of your hunt.

We gladly accept cash, cashiers checks and money orders. Visa/MC are accepted also.

All prices are subject to change until the hunt is booked. Hunt is considered booked when the deposit is received by Bookcliff Outfitters.

The Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife sets hunt dates and season structures each 5 years. season structure will be set for 2010 through 2014.

All deer hunts in Colorado are on a draw. Muzzleloader elk hunts are on a draw. Some elk hunts in the state are on a draw also. We will assist any booked hunters in applying for these licenses.
